Working with Helen Cammock ::::::
We have worked in close collaboration with Helen Cammock on pivotal projects during the past seven years, initially making her prints for Carte de Visite (2015) curated by Turner Prizewinning artist Lubaina Himid, then for a commission for Bookworks (2016) presented as part of Hull City of Culture. This dialogue between the making and the development of ideas continued in the production of Shouting in Whispers for Cubitt (2018) in London an exhibition which led to her to winning the Max Mara Prize and having an exhibition at Void Gallery (2019) in Derry which in turn led to her nomination for the Turner Prize. In her prize-winning exhibition (2019) for this award Magda Stawarska and Tracy Hill worked with her on two large-scale print and relief projects. She has said that working in this way with us shifted her entire practice.
