The Masters Programme (2015 -2019) ::::::

The Masters a public programme of events whose aim was to explore and engage contemporary printmaking through expanded fine art practice. Guest Artists delivered illustrated talks and practical studio demonstrations sharing their innovative approach to making. The participants benefited by being actively involved and learned new skills. The programme was designed to complement the studio’s long-term vision to promote contemporary print through experimental practice and cross-disciplinary research. Each guest artist was selected based on their research led practice, linking tradition and innovation within their specialised area of contemporary print.  These events were aimed to encourage and engage conversations through scholarly and community activities following the university’s strategic aim for social engagement, research and innovation and contributing to the learning and knowledge exchange.
