Zinta Jaunitis

In 2025 Zinta was awarded our second Women In Print prize at the 10th edition of Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Her beautiful concertina printed work, ‘This Late Hour’ (2025) explores the possibilities of the folded form which take the image out of the traditional framed format.

During her first week as artist in residence, Zinta explored Monotype, Collagraph and Polymer Gravure. Zinta’s process of drawing within a flow of colour and energy translated easily on and within the print mediums. Large scale monotypes enabled a layering of marks, expanding the conversations between surfaces and colour.

Through careful consideration of material investigations, line and form found further tonal and surface qualities. Continuing her focus on revealing narratives across multiple matrix, Zinta used her expansive drawing practice as a means of blurring boundaries between processes and finding new ways to articulate unexpected discoveries of image and materials.

Zinta will continue her residency during 2026 and we look forward to working with her to develop her ideas further.
